For Boxer, a favorite Republican target, a GOP win in Massachusetts would be a particularly dark sign representing "not just the canary in the coal mine," said Wade Randlett, a leading Silicon Valley fundraiser for Obama. "It's the flock of dead ravens landing on the lawn."

Someone is seriously mixing their metaphors, and I don't think dead birds "land".
Regardless, I do believe that Carly Fiorina has a pretty good shot at unseating Boxer.
Boxer is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, as they say.
Scott Brown really started taking off in terms of support after the debate. Where it was pretty obvious that Coakley was dumb as a box of rocks.
Boxer is quite a bit dumber actually.
If people actually pay attention to a Boxer/Fiorina debate then unseating Boxer is not completely out of the question.
