NBA Brackets

2 games left to play, and the seedings are unknown.
In the West, the 1st seed is nailed down, and nothing else is.
In the East, 1st, 4th, 5th, and 8th are nailed down.
If the 1 seeds from both conferences get to the finals, we still don't know who has home court advantage.

Example:

for just the 2,3,4 seeds in the west...
  • If LAL wins 2, LAL are the #2 seed.
    • If so, and DAL wins as many as OKC, then DAL is #3, and OKC is #4.
    • If so, and DAL doesn't win as many as OKC, then OKC is #3, and DAL is #4.
  • If LAL wins 1, and DAL wins 2, then seedings go: DAL, LAL, OKC
  • IF LAL wins 1, DAL wins 1, OKC wins 2 then seedings: LAL, OKC, DAL
  • IF LAL wins 1, DAL wins 1, OKC wins <2 then: LAL, DAL, OKC
  • IF LAL wins 0, DAL wins 1, OKC wins 2, then: OKC, DAL, LAL
  • IF LAL wins 0, DAL wins 0, OKC wins 2, then OKC, LAL, DAL
  • IF LAL wins 0, DAL wins 0, OKC wins 1, then LAL, OKC, DAL.
  • If no one wins any, LAL, DAL, OKC.
Complicated yet? Then there's the West 6,7,8 seeds, the East, and the actual tricky question of spurs vs. bulls homecourt advantage in the finals if they both make it (3:1 against).
