1. I am with Caplan 110%. It is painful, as a math guy to write 110%, but given how strongly I am with his position, I did it anyhow.
2. The Progressive Eugenicists of the 1920s/30s appear to be out in force. They got into disrepute after '45...but seem to have forgotten it.
3. Fundamentally, the Caplan claim is...as a rich person, what anyone else does to me is LARGELY within my control. Unless they're some asshole government bureaucrat who relies on gun-wielding thugs to collect their salary in a rich part of town. Apart from those folks, your choices are your own.
