Rick Perry:
How good is he as a politician? He and his master-pollsters have decided that the key part of Cain's tax plan is it's simplicity...and he knows that there's huge resistance to Cain's sales tax component. So...Perry's pushing a flat tax now. With approval from Steve Forbes.
I don't like watching the weekly numbers...but so far Cain's only position is his 999, and Perry's one-upped it. Cain appears more likeable. And I like folks with quantitative backgrounds.
I am still sticking with Perry as the anti-Romney candidate, and therefore the Republican Party candidate & next president.

I don't see where Perry is anti to Romney.
Pretty much everyone except Christie is the Anti-Romney, and he's not running.
So yeah Perry. Not a big fan of Perry, but I'll vote for anyone over Romney. besides, an anti-gun pro-big government "so called" conservative like Romney can't win, since the base won't show up.
Although...
The more Perry and Romney scream like 7 year-olds on the playground the better Newt looks. But of course the history professor always looks like the adult in the room. Also, Newt understands Regan's 11th commandment, so he's not burning any bridges.
And a Gingrich/Obama debate would be a true joy to see.
The smart money is still on Perry though.
