Long, but I felt that he was just stating his opinion, without providing facts to prove his case.

Doesn't mean he was wrong, though.

I don't think it's PROVEN...
but we have reason to believe it.

1. Recipes to be followed are the source of wealth (Romer's future Nobel).
2. Recipes generate wealth when (a) someone builds the recipe, and (b) someone follows the recipe.
3. Software is replacing 2b with robots/software.
4. The source of all wealth, is converging then upon recipes, and software to follow the recipe.
5. Therefore...the ability to make the computer follow the resume is the uber-skill.
6. 10x is real, and understated. It's really infinite, because shitty programmers are negative value.
7. If the most(*) valuable skill is programming, and programmers vary massively in value...
8. One can easily take his position seriously.
