A particular insanity

There is a notion among many religious folks and some atheists that Meaning, Worth, Ethics and Value are features of the world rather than features of minds.   THAT'S CRAZY.

The question...where does meaning (to you) come from...has an obvious answer: "from your mind".  Folks who say:  "If God wasn't there, where would you get meaning?" are completely missing the meaning of meaning.  Meaning is subjective...always has been, always will be, and the notion that you can imagine yourself part of something "bigger" is a good cognitive illusion.

Ditto Value, Worth, Good, etc.  What's the problem that folks are trying to solve with posts like this?  How to maintain the illusion that these things aren't purely subjective, and that Compatibilism is false?  I think they fail to even understand the problem.
