Philosophy on one foot

Referencing both Hillel and Rand...
I'm sure that my readers think me incapable of something so concise, or that I'd cheat by pointing out that I was a student of springboard diving (Competed in college), gymnastics, rock climbing ([update: bad memory]10b-d in + outdoor), martial artist (shotokan karate, aiki-jujutsu), ballet dancer (~1 year) before I finished college...and so I can stand on one fot for a long time.  Rather...I'll accept the challenge

Epistemology:  Induction first realism
Metaphysics: Wrong question.
Ethics: Individualist Virtue-Prudence
Politics:  Universalist wealth-and-freedom
Aesthetics:  aretae (arete, ἀρετή)

Asides:  Ooh...the wikipedia article on Areté improved.  I like.  This is what I mean.  Feel free, Herz, to snicker at it's apparent teleologism.  Ooh...and Dictionary.com says it's pronounced like I like to (pronunciation is disputed).  Good day for me.

9d? What rating system is that?

OOps...fixing. My memory was bad, as most of my climbing was 95-97

And that was standard US system. Most of my indoor work was at this gym, but I did a little climbing in the rockies as well, and didn't find the outdoor routes any harder than the gym routes...though they were sometimes longer.
