Diet post

A month after moving to san antonio, I shifted my diet to be a soft-paleo, and started super-slow weightlifting at a nearby gym.  Over the next month, I dropped 10 pounds, but then was stable for another month.  Likely issue: losing some fat each week balanced against gaining some muscle.   However, I was upset at the lack of weight loss after the first 10.
Then I went on vacation, didn't gain, came home, got sick, lost another 2-3 pounds, ad missed 2 weeks of superslow to illness and error...and then I  got mad at my weight loss failure.

So I went extreme on weight loss.  I implemented 5 diet plans concurrently.
1.  Hard paleo 2.0:  Kurt Harris style.
2.  LCHF nordic paleo.
3.  Daily IF, with 16-18 hour fasts daily.
4.  Shangri-la -- Seth Roberts nose-clipped heavy calories
5.  Sleep more, when tired.

In concrete terms, that means that I wake up and drink a zero-calorie monster.  If I find myself wanting taste, I nibble a "Extra" polar ice calorie free gum.  Sometime between noon and 4, I stop the gum for an hour...and then drink a full cup of heavy cream while nose-clipped.  And then for dinner I eat only fat and protein...

Total carbs consumed in 5 days:  4 tortilla chips, 1/2 bite of the kids' ice cream, 1/2 bite of a potato soaked in grass-fed beef gravy.

Effect:   first day and a half:  atkins flu -- nasty headache, diarhea.
Hunger:  I effectively don't experience hunger any longer.  I've skipped not only breakfast 5/6 days, but the heavy cream appetite suppressor 2 days, and 2 other meals.
Extra mucus:  I don't digest milk products well.
Weight loss:  currently dropping better than a pound a day for the week.

Five? Why not six...

My progress has likewise stalled. I think I will mimic you. I just bought a pull-up bar, so I'm going to restart my body-weight superslow again as well.

And btw, you need to adjust your spam filter.
